Introduction

Greaves Farm Caravan Park is a small family run park, giving personal service.

We aim to ensure that our visitors enjoy the accommodation, facilities and surroundings within the park. If you require any assistance during your stay or while planning your visit we will gladly assist.

We take tents, touring caravans, motor homes and have 3 holiday vans for hire, there are also 17 privately owned static caravans on the park.

We have a brochure and web site www.greavesfarmcaravanpark.co.uk and entries at www.golakes.co.uk/accomodation and also at ukparks.com. The park is level and grassed. The static park is in the old farm orchard and the main touring site is a 4 acre meadow with the pitches round the edge. The smaller paddock area takes 4 units and is closer to the amenities and road. Mobile signal is generally good. We supply butane and propane gas.

The nearest village is Cartmel which is 3 miles away with a Premier late shop, post office, pubs and cafes. Grange-o-Sands is 5 miles away and has a wide range of shops including a chemist etc. The nearest garage/shop is at Newby Bridge approx. 1.5 miles. There are several local taxi firms but no bus/public transport. Internet access is available at Grange public library or local cafes, the park has reasonable mobile phone coverage and most of the time 4G is available. Nearest doctor is Cartmel or Grange.

Reception

This is situated at Nether Edge at end of lane leading to park, which is 200m from the caravan park; it is possible to park here. There is a level path to door but not wide enough for wheel chair.

Holiday Vans/Static Park

The static park has tarmac roads. Parking is next to caravans, site is grassed.

Toilet/ Shower Blocks

These are situated on the static park, across the lane from the touring and tenting areas. There are toilets, hot and cold water, wash basins and 1 shower and hairdryers in each block. The Ladies block has a small step up at the entrance and a step up in to the shower cubicle. The Gents block has no step at entrance but has a step up in to the shower cubicle. There are heaters in both toilet blocks. There are no disabled toilet or shower facilities. There is a parking space adjacent to the Toilet/shower block.

Touring and Tenting Facilities

The main touring field is across the lane from the facilities, the pitches are all on fairly level grass, if you require a pitch near the amenity blocks please ask when booking. There are 12 pitches with electric hook up points (6amp). There are 9 hard standing pitches in total. Parking next to your caravan or tent is allowed. There are several water points, a chemical disposal point, dustbin and recycling point and fire points on the park.

The smaller paddock area is closer to the amenity block and takes 4 units, all have hook up electric points (6amps) all are hard standings

There is a chalet with washing up facilities; hot and cold water and 2 sinks, fridge and freezer, it has sloping access and a small step at the threshold.

Holiday Homes

The holiday caravans have 3 steps with hand rail up to the entrances. The caravans have one double bedroom and a room with twin beds (2ft 6”), and pull out bed in lounge, a maximum of 4 guests are allowed, they have a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. They are non-smoking and dogs are allowed in one van. The caravans have their own parking spaces next to them.
